 It is recommended to get your wedding spray tan 2 or 3 days before the wedding. For example, if your wedding is on a Saturday, it is best to get a spray tan on Wednesday or Thursday. This will allow the tan to fully develop, neutralize to your skin, and wash away all cosmetic bronzer.

No, it is safe to get a spray tan and still wear white! Since your wedding spray tan is done 2-3 days in advance, you will have 1 rinse + 1-2 full showers with soap to ensure all cosmetic bronzers have washed off. In addition, at Gold Spray Tan Bar, we offer clear solution, that is bronzer-free, specifically designed for brides and their white wedding dress. With clear solution, there will be no bronzer solution colour transfer at all. 

Please note, however, that if your dress is tight and rubs in high-friction or high-sweat areas of your body (i.e., under arms, between breasts, or on lower back) there may be a possibility of light bronzer transfer, but rest assured, the stain will be washed off with dry cleaning.

ABSOLUTELY YES! Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and we want you looking like a million bucks! A bridal spray tan trial is highly recommended, especially if it is your first time getting a spray tan. The trial will provide the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the spray tan process, and to determine the perfect colour match for your skin type and desired tan outcome. TIP: consider booking your spray tan, hair and makeup trials together so you can visualize the finished look. 

We recommend you trial your spray tan minimum 1 month in advance, to allow the tan to fade, and to have enough time to prep for your wedding spray tan. Most brides will choose to trial their tan for their engagement shoot, bridal shower or bachelorette so you're trialing and glowing all-in-one! This also provides the opportunity for your bridal party (bridesmaids, Maid of Honour, and Mother of the Bride and/or Groom) to see how a spray tan looks and may want one for the wedding as well. Group rates are available!

Spray tanning should be the last step in your beauty routine. Complete all manicures, pedicures, hair removal (i.e. waxing, shaving), lash extensions, facials, massages and hair services 24-48 hours prior to your appointment. Here is a sample bridal spray tan schedule:

Monday - hair, brows, lashes, facial and/or massage

Tuesday - manicure and pedicure

Wednesday - shower, shave and EXFOLIATE

Thursday - spray tan

Friday - rinse and moisturize

Saturday - WEDDING DAY

Sunday - moisturize and hydrate cont'd 

At Gold Spray Tan Bar, you are in the best hands. A certified spray tan artist will create a custom blended solution based on your skin type and desired colour depth. It will also consist of the appropriate DHA percentage and bronzer colour to suit your skin undertone. 

Your spray tan artist will tell you the appropriate number of hours to "marinate" in, and give you a designated rinse time.  Follow your artist's instructions, and you'll be golden! During your trial, we will determine the perfect colour match for you. If you prefer to go lighter or darker, we will adjust accordingly for your wedding tan, and ensure you look natural and flawless.
